Introduction

Picture It. As a child, you grew up in a home where one of your parents worked hard day in and day out and your other parent was strung out on drugs. Your responsible parent did the best they could, but didn’t show their feelings and you all struggled to make ends meet. You were molested by multiple people, including a few family members, but you held that in and carried it with you, not telling a soul. Being bullied in school, made to feel like you didn’t matter at home, and growing up in a toxic environment might have left you with low self esteem. You’ve survived your past but still struggle to thrive in your present. There’s a reason you’ve encountered these roadblocks. You are not alone. Many have encountered the same. It is time to prioritize YOU because you matter! I join you on the journey to becoming who YOU want to be. I help you learn how to show up in the world authentically and unapologetically, without the need to code switch around different people. I am deeply passionate about children and families surviving family violence! I enjoy helping them, as well as the professionals and organizations serving them. As a formally trained and experienced Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner, I provide an array of training and consultation to support those working in the field. Please click the link below on YouTube (scroll to the bottom of the page to the Social Media section) to learn more about my approach to therapy. Then, if you’re interested in chatting to see if we are a good fit, please schedule your free 15 minute consultation by clicking "Request Appointment." Or, if you are ready to move forward with services, click "Request Appointment" and select 'Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation." This is just a fancy term for the first appointment in which we we will discuss your situation and plan our work together.
