Hi, my name is Natalia (she/her). My goal is to create a welcoming space where we can explore your thoughts and feelings, free from judgment, while providing you with ways to learn more about your mental health and offering new approaches to find some relief in your life. As a therapist with ten years of experience working with immigrant communities and BIPOC clients in medical settings, you can expect me to use a holistic approach in our sessions that is tailored to meet you where you're at. If you choose to work with me, you can expect a therapist who is warm, relational, and expressive. I will listen to you without judgment, hold space for both the "good" and the "bad" feelings, and gently challenge you to recognize both your strengths and what parts of you that may have been helpful for you to survive at one time in your life that may be able to take a break now. I have extensive experience in narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and I am receiving training in EMDR and brainspotting. I do not think there is a "one fits all" approach so I pull from different modalities to find what will work best for you. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and so I welcome feedback and will work with you to figure out a plan to help you meet your therapeutic goals.
