I’ve always been curious about what helps people live in accordance with their values. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to work in various counseling roles for over twenty years before undergoing training as a clinical therapist. These two decades of experience allowed me to witness the profound impact of active listening, which often goes unnoticed. Deep listening serves as the initial step towards healing, enabling individuals to align more closely with their values and, in turn, find greater meaning in life. This realization led me to become a therapist, where I honed my skills in the art of deep listening and further refined my ability to assist people in developing the tools needed to move towards their desires while distancing themselves from what they wish to avoid. This transformation towards positive change becomes attainable when someone truly hears their inner voice and connects it with their life choices. During our collaborative work, I often contemplate questions such as: What do you aspire to have more of? What do you wish to have less of? What obstacles hinder your progress? What can be altered? What assistance do you require in accepting certain aspects of yourself to propel forward? I can guide you in cultivating the necessary energy and focus for change, tackling obstacles, processing grief, and acquiring skills to improve your relationship with yourself and others, all in alignment with your core values. I work with individuals aged 13 and older and warmly welcome people from all cultures, genders, sexual orientations, and neurological orientations who are open to working with me. I find particular satisfaction in working with EMDR clients, individuals dealing with OCD-related disorders, and those with ADHD. A bit about me: I am a naturally inquisitive and creative individual who holds a deep appreciation for people, plants, animals, and the wonders of life. In my free time, I enjoy biking, gardening, and spending time near large bodies of water with their ever-changing tides and captivating depths.
