Hey there! I’m Nakita – a psychotherapist who works with adults and couples to cultivate hope, healing, and freedom within. I'm here to help you figure out the hard, confusing, and overwhelming aspects of life so that you can live with authenticity, connection, and resilience. In our work together, you will learn skillful means of managing, overcoming, and letting go of the things that keep you stuck. I specialize in the treatment of PTSD, chronic illness, anxiety, interpersonal issues, and life transitions. I practice as a relational, trauma informed, culturally responsive psychotherapist. My clinical orientation is psychodynamic and attachment based, utilizing the following evidence and practice-based treatment approaches when appropriate: EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, DBT, and CBT. I currently offer individual and couples therapy. For those residing outside of Bellingham, I offer telehealth services.
