Introduction

I am a systemically trained Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), specializing in individual, couple, premarital, family, and blended family therapy. My approach is direct, relational, intimacy driven, and I use a blend of experiences, techniques, skills, and training to personalize and meet the needs of each of my clients. I aim at making sure each and every one of my clients feel comfortable, valued, and heard. Ever since I was young, I have had a passion for helping others and being a Marriage and Family Therapist fulfills my purpose, aligns with my core beliefs and values. I believe that a lot of the issues that we face in our communities stem from unaddressed trauma, lack of mental health awareness, and an overall environment that is not conducive for healing and growth. My goal as a therapist is to help heal our communities through bringing mental health awareness and affordable mental health services to our communities, remove the stigma of mental health, help bring an understanding of the connection of body, mind, and spirit, and encourage others to seek professional help. Relationships are my passion, beginning with the relationship one has with self, the foundation of every relationship. “When you heal your life, and I heal my life, something AMAZING happens”.
