Adolescence is a significant period of growth and change. For some youths, it can be a challenging time in life as they construct and solidify their identities. Using a collaborative approach, I assist adolescents to develop problem-solving skills, improve their communication and social connections, while identifying and managing their emotions and stressors. I help adolescents to have a greater understanding of who they are and who they want to become. Essentially, my goal is to give young people the tools and support they need to be their best selves while navigating through life's challenges. I use a personalized treatment approach while your child sets short and long-term goals. I use a strengths-based approach, working on their growth areas through Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Social Emotional Learning, and Mindfulness practices. I take pride in my ability to make connections and develop authentic therapeutic relations. If your child is struggling to find him or herself, needs support in building inner strength and resilience, or seems to be overwhelmed by life in general, now is time to seek help. With great compassion and humor, I would be honored to help your child learn coping skills while identifying their strengths so that they can live a purposeful and happy life.
