Mrs. Evans, LEP

Hello and welcome to Evans Best Counseling and Testing. We provide private Neuropsychological Assessment and Counseling services. Mrs. Evans, LEP #4236, ABSNP #11115, holds training as a Diplomate in the American Board of School Neuropsychology and is a Licensed as a Educational Psychologist with nearly two decades of experience in the public school setting with youth and young adults. She also has held membership with the School Neuropsychology Institute, and National Academy of Neuropsychology. LEP’s in the state of California are licensed and governed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences licenses to conduct private assessment, diagnose (DSM-5), provide direct intervention services, counsel, consult with schools and families, and make professional recommendations for individuals who may experience learning and behavioral problems, regardless of age. Services may include statements of eligibility for special education, make recommendations for school accommodations (all levels), gifted/talented assessment, appropriate special education programs, tutoring or other remediation approaches, and goals recommendations. My background ensures that services are relevant to the referral question using collaborative and best practice informed methods to deliver and bridge the gap between clinical psychology and education. We address clinical diagnostic categories, education law categories, and to serve as a liaison between families and other providers (counselors, other therapists, psychiatrists).
