Ever since I was young, I have always fallen into the role of reflective listener. As a teenager, my friends came to me for advice as I was known for my patience and trustworthiness. From there, I think I always knew that I wanted to go into a field where I could help people in that way. I graduated from Seton Hall University in 2007 with a master’s degree in counseling psychology. The majority of my experience working with children and adults suffering from trauma and anxiety. I spent 12 years managing residential group homes and therapeutic foster care. I also organized programs for children with trauma and other mental health difficulties placed outside of their homes. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the Nurtured Heart Approach. My specialty includes working with individuals and families to help them recognize greatness within themselves and each other. Additionally, I seek to help my clients build their inner wealth, so they are stronger from the inside out.
