Introduction

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Massachusetts with over a decade of experience working with individuals from a many varied backgrounds and life circumstances who come with complex concerns. My experience includes helping clients with emotional and social stressors associated with chronic disease management including HIV/AIDS, diabetes and heart disease, those coping with life changes, aging and unresolved grief and substance use disorder. Additionally my practice includes supporting professionals around issues of compassion fatigue, burnout mitigation and recovery and managing stress related to work and professional development. My approach to counseling is collaborative and both embraces where you are at while also gentle challenges toward growth and desired change. I utilize methods from Relational-Cultural and Narrative Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My goal is to always create a dynamic counseling space that will center the work that emerges through dialogue and reflection. I values the individual experiences of each person living in a complex world that places a person sometimes within systems they have little influence over but which have a great deal of influence over the person. I look forward to working with you! My practice is entirely virtual at this time.
