Have you wondered if there's an option that offers a little bit more than simply talking about what's been wrong? To address you as a whole person, sessions could include education on neuroscience, exploring unhelpful patterns, spirituality/meaning, gentle mind-body exercises, or developing tools to help you support yourself with more ease. We will use a collaborative approach that focuses on building self-understanding, developing tools for coping, relaxing, and moving forward. Talking about your story and your problems can be an important part of therapy; however, for many people, those approaches don't go far enough to promote true healing. As we explore your experience, we will also explore the meaning behind your experience, and we will incorporate mind-body techniques to more fully address emotions and physical symptoms. For over ten years, I've had the privilege of guiding people as they heal from anxiety, depression, trauma, and physical discomfort. I offer direct feedback while also guiding you through connecting to your internal wisdom and sense of self. I’m a queer therapist who is grounded in anti-oppressive politics; I welcome people of all backgrounds and experiences. Schedule a free consultation. I would love to hear from you!
