In 2009 I pivoted from a business career into behavioral health. I've provided individual and group counseling to people with a wide range of issues My graduate degree is in Rehabilitation. The focus is always on developing a quality of life you value. How we get there is a mix of art and science. To extend learning outside of session, I may provide handouts or worksheets. Sometimes I suggest watching movies and documentaries, listen to a podcast, or read a book. You might hear me encourage you to get out in nature, try mindfulness meditation, or take up a hobby. All these strategies (and more) could be part of your healing. I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Off hours you could find me chilling with friends. While fishing, I've run into bears. Pinochle is my favorite card game. Settlers of Catan is my favorite board game. You won't ever catch me (voluntarily) pulling weeds.
