After 15 years in business, I pivoted into the mental health field starting in 2009. I've worked in a wide range of office settings, and out in the community. My graduate degree is in Rehabilitation with a focus on restoring you to the quality of life you value. How we get there is the creative part. To extend learning and changes outside of session I might provide handouts or worksheets. Sometimes I suggest watching movies, documentaries, podcasts, or books. You might hear me advocate for getting out in the community, nature, or take up a hobby. All of these strategies (and more) can be part of your treatment plan. I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Off hours you might find me hanging out reading or listening to a podcast. While fishing, I've run into bears. Pinochle is my favorite card game. You won't ever catch me voluntarily pulling weeds.
