I'm a licensed professional counselor and registered art therapist with over 18 years of experience. Through my practice, Vitality Counseling and Art Therapy, my aim is to help clients sort through confusion, learn/practice new ways of understanding and responding to experiences, meet their wounds with compassion, and reconnect with their inherent vitality. I often support clients who are navigating the effects of change, chronic stress, or trauma. Some report feeling too intensely, while others feel detached. Often, their relationships are difficult. I serve adults of all ages and teens 17+. My practice, which incorporates art therapy (if interested), includes depth-work, offered in tandem with practical learning and skills. I seek to deeply understand the whole person, integrated mind/body, and the relationships/systems in which they have existed. My approach is relationally-based, trauma-informed and centered around compassion and honesty. I have training and experiences working with a wide range of presenting concerns, including trauma, family/ relationship concerns, depression, anxiety, and ADHD. In addition to offering therapy and training/supervision to other clinicians, I've participated in my own personal therapy throughout adulthood. I understand of the importance of being offered compassion, honesty, and collaborative, thoughtful intervention. Whether it is through this practice or another, I hope that you find a meaningful experience!
