Introduction

Welcome to The Imani Center for Well-Being. I am Dr. Monica Williams, licensed psychologist and I am honored that you are taking the time to learn more about my unique brand of therapy. I believe that therapy is one of the most powerful healing tools on the planet. We often discount the power of having another human being truly listen to our stories. However, I understand the healing power in being seen and heard. As a therapist, I create conversations with a purpose, utilizing an integrative therapy model. That means that I incorporate key principles from person-centered, constructivist, and feminist theoretical orientations to assist clients in redefining significant life moments. During our work together we will shift defining moments of pain and disempowerment and transform those same moments into sources of strength, resilience, and personal empowerment. To learn more about my practice and style of therapy and to determine if working with me could be beneficial to your life, contact me at Theimanicenterforwellbeing@gmail.com to schedule a free 20 minute consultation.
