Having someone who listens and truly understands can make all the difference in navigating life’s challenges. Monica, a Licensed Social Worker, has witnessed this power of empathy time and time again throughout her career. She has supported individuals facing a range of adversities, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Monica is dedicated to creating a safe and authentic space where clients can explore their inner selves. Using various techniques such as psychoeducation, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness practices, she helps clients gain new insights and achieve personal growth. Monica views therapy as a collaborative and flexible process, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. Monica holds a Master of Social Work degree with a clinical focus from Columbia University’s School of Social Work. She has extensive experience in child welfare, working with families from diverse backgrounds to help them achieve stability. "Outside of therapy, I enjoy knitting, crocheting, and anything crafty. I also love exploring new cafes and trying different coffees."
