Introduction

I am a mental health counselor that believes in helping equip clients to learn, grow and promote positive change in their life. I work with children to help them learn to manage their strong emotions, manage their behavioral concerns and changing life situations. This is often accomplished by using a variety of child centered activities including play, creative and interactive therapies. I help adolescents work through life transitions that can bring about confusing or overwhelming emotions. Adolescents is a time of discovering yourself and your place in this world. Therapy can help sort out questions, emotions or concerns regarding this process. My with with adults often includes helping them process difficult life situations that they are currently going through or have experienced in their past. Whether working with children, adolescents or adults I look to provide a safe place that will facilitate trust, compassion and respect.
