MONARCA BEHAVIORAL HEALTH is a group practice of mental health professionals treating adults, adolescents and couples. Sessions are performed in-office or telehealth. Jesica Aznar, MA, LMHC, QS-MHC/MFT is a graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Post-Graduate specializations in Trauma and Marriage & Family Therapy. Ms. Aznar primary therapeutic approach is EMDR -Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Anxiety disorders. Additionally, she performs child custody evaluations and is a Guardian Ad Litem for high conflict divorces in Seminole and Orange counties as well as a qualified supervisor for mental health counselors and marriage and family therapists registered interns. Ms. Aznar has experience working in diverse settings including hospital, community counseling centers, intensive outpatient, outpatient treatment and substance abuse rehabilitation facilities. Marti Florez, MA, LMHC is a graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Post-Graduate specializations in Marriage & Family therapy. Marti's primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders with adolescents and adults as well as couples therapy. She has experience working in outpatient treatment and substance abuse rehabilitation facilities. Melissa Smith, LCSW is a graduate from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology as well as from the University of Central Florida with a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work. Melissa is trained in EMDR-Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing as well as CBT-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. She has experience working with adolescents and adults in outpatient settings, case management and acute care. She has experience in the treatment of trauma, depression, substance abuse, anxiety and ADHD. Christian Gonzalez De Leon, M.Ed, RMHCI graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with minor in Social Science and a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling from Ana G. Mendez University. Christian's primary therapeutic approaches are cognitive behavioral therapy and Navigate Resiliency Training. He has experience in the treatment of depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, ADHD and psychosis disorders. Christian has experience working with adolescents and adults in inpatient and outpatient settings.
