Introduction

I am a seasoned therapist specializing in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-Informed EMDR, Brainspotting and attachment. I value the diversity of the human nervous system and utilize somatic approaches to support healing. This provides individualized support that combines evidence-based approaches to address various mental health challenges and promote personal growth. Providing a way to regulate your emotions and improve your problem solving skills, can have implications in every area of your life from relationships, to career performance and even athletic and artistic performance. Together, we'll create a collaborative, safe, and exploratory therapeutic space, utilizing an integrated approach that goes beyond talk therapy. EMDR & IFS-Informed EMDR therapy can help you: Learn ways to experience calm and relaxing moments. Deepen your understanding of your feelings and why you do what you do. Build a stronger sense of trust and connection to yourself and others. Heal from painful past experiences including childhood trauma. Grow in your ability to handle strong emotions. Expand your confidence, courage, and compassion to be your true self. Originally, I studied Music and obtained an undergraduate degree from York College of PA in 2002. My journey in the mental health field began as a mobile therapist in Pennsylvania in 2003, where I provided individual and family therapy in the home, community, and provided school based therapeutic services. From there, I graduated from Millersville University in 2006 with a degree in School Psychology. After much internal debate, I transitioned from public education back to clinical work and obtained additional training in IFS, EMDR and Brainspotting. Ultimately, I learned to listen to my internal world with curiosity and discovered transformation, healing, and balance, within the journey itself.
