Hello and Welcome! I am a Gestalt-trained therapist, having completed a two-year postgraduate training at the Gestalt Institute of Pittsburgh. Gestalt Therapy focuses on helping clients increase awareness of their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, values, and patterns to support personal growth. As a therapist, my role is to guide clients in exploring their present experiences and recognizing the choices available to them, rather than trying to change them or force them in a particular direction. Gestalt therapy is particularly helpful for clients who are seeking to foster self-empowerment, self-responsibility, self-compassion, and an authentic, meaningful life. My values include, though are not limited to, authenticity, autonomy, choice, compassion, curiosity, humor, nonjudgement, transparency, and social justice. These values often show up in my role as a therapist. If you are looking for a therapist who is conversational, who does not have a set agenda for each appointment, and who is open to exploring the world that is you with interest and curiosity, I may be a good fit for you. I also offer appointments for gender-affirming procedure letters. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment for this type of letter, please reach out via my contact form.
