I help people navigate their anxiety so they can enjoy living full, meaningful lives without feeling so stressed and worried. It’s hard to stay present when we’re constantly thinking about worst case scenarios, over-planning, and second guessing ourselves. I also work really well with people who want to make peace with food and their body. They’re often tired of chronic dieting, feeling guilt over food, shame over their body, and the scale deciding what kind of day they’re going to have. We will work together on developing helpful beliefs and effective coping skills so you can get your life back online and be able to fully experience it. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), a type of therapy used to reduce distress, heal from the past, and build adaptive beliefs about yourself (ex. I am good enough, I can get through it, I can safely let go of some control). I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and use a Health At Every Size approach which means I welcome all sized bodies and believe everyone deserves to be valued, respected, and accepted as they are. This is a space where we cultivate body appreciation, body acceptance, and body liberation.
