Hi, I’m Mojdeh. I am an Iranian-American licensed therapist. I am a child of immigrant parents. I was witness to my parents experiencing their feelings of grief as they lived far from family, friends, and their native country. As a woman of color, I deeply understand the experience of not being seen, heard, or included. I have experienced racism and sexism as I've navigated the world as an Iranian woman. I am aware of the under-representation of BIPOC clients and therapists in the therapy room. This has led me to want to connect with clients who hold marginalized identities. In our work together, we can begin the process of examining systemic issues, healing intergenerational trauma and advocating for social change.
