Introduction

🌟 Finding Your Way Back: A Message from a Former Client Turned Therapist 🌟 Hey there! I’m [Your Name], and I’ve walked a path that might sound familiar. When I first stepped into the world of mental health, I was a client myself—fresh out of the military and struggling to find my place. I joked that I was "lost in the alphabet," dealing with substance abuse, depression, PTSD, and more. My instincts were on high alert, and I knew I had to take action to save myself. I reached out for help, just like I used to encourage others to do as an Army medic. I learned that in order to support others, I first needed to take care of myself. Once I found an incredible therapist, I began to heal, and that journey inspired me to become a therapist myself. I believe in the power of healing—healed people, heal people. I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse individuals, from at-risk youth to those struggling with substance abuse. My experience spans various backgrounds and needs, including addiction and dual diagnosis. I’m here to offer support to individuals, couples, and families of all ages. In my practice, I focus on meeting you where you are. It’s all about creating a client-centered approach that supports you with evidence-based practices. I believe in empowering you while providing professional guidance. Therapy can be a lot like dating—you want to find the right fit. It’s essential for both of us to feel comfortable and connected. Each journey is unique, and every step you take is valuable. I’m here to hold space for you, no matter your beliefs, background, or values. If you’re ready to reach out and take the first step, I’m here for you. Don’t let fear hold you back. Everyone feels afraid at times, but that doesn’t mean you have to face it alone. Let’s start a conversation and find a way forward together.
