Many of us live life fragmented, disconnected, and alone. We desire deep and meaningful connection, but often shy away from truly being known. We avoid change because it's hard, and we instinctively hold onto the way things are out of comfort. This can, however, leave us feeling stuck, unfulfilled, and aimless. As your therapist, I work hard to know you. I meet you with full acceptance and hold space for you to bring all of yourself (yes, the messy parts, too!) into our relationship. You don't have to be ready or willing to embrace change to seek therapy. In fact, you can benefit greatly just by being curious. I will not push you out the door with a quick fix, and I certainly will not rush you to a goal before you feel ready. I recognize that sometimes you may need to talk about an issue repeatedly before you can let it go. I will give you the time and space to do that as often as you need without having to worry about being a burden or a "broken record." I will be with you every step of the way as we explore your concerns, examine barriers, deepen your awareness, and create a life that is more authentically you. I will encourage you, support you, and, most importantly, empower you to consider "leaning" into change. So, come as you are, and we’ll figure out together where we need to go.
