Seeking therapy or mental health counseling is a brave and arduous step in your healing journey. My goal is to make it as soothing and comforting as possible through a person-centered and strength-based approach; to allow the most growth to occur for you to reach your goals. I am a licensed creative arts therapist, trained in utilizing the visual arts to assist in the therapeutic process with a Master’s degree in Creativity Development and Creative Arts Therapy from Pratt Institute. Working with me will include trauma-informed care, meaning it will be an empathetic, accommodating, and collaborative environment to establish trust and safety. The most recurring themes that I’ve worked with include managing depression and anxiety, developing self-concept and improving self-esteem, and gender-affirming care with the LGBTQIA+ community. I hope to connect with you through this process and walk alongside you with patience and understanding. I appreciate working with you and learning from you however and whenever you show up. You deserve the opportunity to heal in your own time, on your own terms and it is my pleasure to join forces with you in this endeavor.
