It is an act of bravery to begin therapy. I see my clients as courageous for stepping into the vulnerability it takes to begin the process of looking inward and navigating the stuck places that often get in the way of our desire for more peace and self acceptance. I work from the perspective that we all have painful coping mechanisms that served us in childhood, but often trip us up in our adult life. Old patterns often feel really bad, but they are hard to shift if we don't give them our attention, care and understanding. Often we have resistance around shifting patterns because they are familiar and even comfortably uncomforatable. It is my job to help offer new choices, new actions, new ways of experiencing yourself so that life can feel lighter and more connected to joy. I am passionate about helping people find the new pathways that lead to a more satisfying human experience.
