Introduction

Stress and unaddressed difficult situations can create a perfect storm for maladaptive coping skills and what seems like uncontrollable emotions. It is easy to become overwhelmed in today’s crazy world. Mindi wants to assist you to feel empowered and to take your power back. Mindi will guide you through the process of healing your mind and body and finding your peace. Mindi believes the therapeutic relationship is very important in the personal growth process. Mindi uses a modality of approaches such as EMDR, MBCT, IFS and other related resources to work collaboratively with you towards attainable goals. Mindi utilizes trauma informed therapies, therapies based in neuroscience and grounding techniques to work through trauma and stress. She is diligent in creating a desired state of mind and will assist you to improve your overall state of being. Mindi Wants to assist you to feel empowered and to take your power back. Mindi will guide you through the process of healing your mind and body and finding your desired peace. Mindi attended the University at Buffalo for her Bachelors degree in Psychology in 2010 and earned her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Medaille University in 2014. Mindi considers herself a lifelong learner and maintains her license through NYS by attending continuous education trainings to further her experience and knowledge in psychology, neuroscience and new emerging fields such as psychedelics. Mindi is enrolled in the Polaris Insight Ketamine Therapy for Clinicians beginning in March 2023 and is working towards certification. She is previously trained and linked with Journey Clinical out of NYC. Mindi has taken extensive training in trauma, Trained in postpartum depression and anxiety through PSI (Postpartum Support International) and is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) from an accredited EMDR supported training. Mindi is a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience working with adults, children and families. Mindi has also worked in a variety of settings such as outpatient clinics, schools, a pediatric medical setting and has been in private practice for 10 years.
