My path has allowed me to connect with people and facilitate personal growth. Once an aspiring filmmaker, I earned a bachelor's degree in Communications with a minor in Psychology. Instead of making films, I gravitated towards curriculum development and teaching filmmaking for the education department within a nonprofit media arts center. It soon struck me that I was inspired and driven by the personal growth of others. I began volunteering at a mental health crisis hotline and went on to earn a master's degree in mental health counseling. I have been a professional counselor and caseworker around the Boston area since 2004. Over a decade was spent in clinical supervision roles. Licensed by Massachusetts in 2009, I began providing individual therapy part time, went to full time in 2017, and eventually opened this private practice.
