I know taking the step to seek out help can often feel overwhelming and intimidating. My goal is to create a safe and comfortable space for you! I often use play therapy and other expressive modalities to help children make sense of their world while learning emotional and behavioral regulation strategies to help them work through their current challenges. My background includes work within community-based, inpatient, and private practice settings with children and families from diverse sociocultural backgrounds. I hold a Master degree in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology from the University of Washington. I received clinical training at Ryther’s Inpatient Program where I provided individual therapy services to children with trauma backgrounds, as well as family therapy and parent coaching for disruptive behaviors. I have received specialized training in the Attachment, Regulation, Competency (ARC) model for working with children and families. I have experience working with a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and mood dysregulation. I utilize several evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness practices, expressive arts and play therapy techniques.
