As the proud son of an Army Veteran, I gained the passion and desire to help others from a very young age. My areas of expertise include working with clients experiencing family issues, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, PTSD, and men’s issues. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling. With over 10 years of experience in the counseling field, I have worked in various settings including private practice, psychiatric hospitals, and community-based outpatient environments. Within these settings, I have worked with a variety of clients including adolescents, adults, and Veteran’s struggling with PTSD. My theoretical perspective includes a combination of Motional Interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy(CPT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Through a collaborative effort, I hope to assist you in acquiring insight to a different perspective and view of yourself. Although my favorite show might have come to an end, in the infamous words of Issa Rae, “We Got Yall!”
