Michelle has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings including partial hospitals, crisis stabilization programs, town youth services departments, outpatient clinics, schools, and private practice settings. She spent the first half of her career providing therapy services to at-risk children, adults, and their families including those who experienced significant trauma. For the last 10 years, Michelle has been in program development, clinical and operational management, and clinical supervision. Michelle specializes in life transitions, women’s mental health, parent-child conflict, self-esteem, as well as challenges like depression, anxiety, relational conflict, and trauma. Michelle integrates effective evidence-based psychotherapy methods, in a safe and supportive environment, to help clients build resilience and achieve growth. Michelle uses a strengths-based approach integrating cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed techniques into her work. She believes that learning to change the way we think about and react to situations will help us feel better. Finding balance is hard and we all need help sometimes!
