Hi and welcome to page! I am glad you're here. My name is Michelle Vo (pronouns: she/her/hers). I am a cis-gender Asian American Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Psychotherapist in California. I own and operate my private practice where I offer individual tele-therapy services and in-person therapy in my Cupertino, CA office. If you've stumbled upon my page, you're likely seeking emotional support and helpful skills to navigate life's challenges. Perhaps you've been feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected to your work, relationships, or even yourself. Strong emotions and suppressed feelings can be very painful to navigate alone. In therapy with me, you can work through negative thinking patterns or habits, common stressors, and allow room for acceptance of things you cannot control. In therapy, you can gain new skills as we talk through your lived experience. Your story is unique, so we will work together to navigate treatment goals that can improve your quality of life. Individuals I enjoy working include perinatal and postpartum mothers, young adults and professionals, working professionals, Asian Americans, and people of color (BIPOC). The modalities of treatment I provide is evidenced-based, strength-based, and solution-focused. Common interventions derive from CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and self-compassion focused. My job is to hear you with compassion and empathy. I aim to understand you with curiosity and work collaboratively on this vulnerable journey. My clients describe me as warm, welcoming, authentic, and dedicated. Finding a therapist is difficult, which is why I offer a free 15-minute consultation for us to connect. If I am able to accomodate you in my practice, I will offer you the earliest visit or a slot on my waiting list after a video consultation. Contact me today for more information.
