Introduction

Life is all about actions and reactions. Often we do not realize how our actions, or lack thereof, affect our situational outcomes. My name is Michelle Roberson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, who aims to walk this path with you and explore your many possibilities. Sometimes we search to define who we are and where we fit on this journey called life. There are many roads to take and for the last five years, I've enjoyed working with a variety of individuals and families, focused on identifying the right road, learning healthy techniques, and practical ways to cope with life challenges. My practice focus areas include substance abuse, phase-of-life issues, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, addiction, mindfulness, and self-improvement opportunities. I specialize in solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. As a therapist, I believe that talking heals. When we are able to talk about what is going on in our lives, it ignites the process of change. Though it's not always easy to locate the road to self-discovery, I welcome the opportunity to travel your journey with you, let’s start together.
