Whether you're seeking EMDR, CBT, DBT, or other therapeutic approaches, we are here to help you on your journey toward healing and growth. See below for more information about each therapist! Hi, I am Michelle Palmas, a licensed therapist specializing in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I provide my services through telehealth. My journey into the field of therapy began with a desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. I received my master’s in social work from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, where I developed a strong foundation in various therapeutic techniques and an understanding of the complexities of mental health. I take a holistic approach to healing, integrating techniques such as goal planning, lifestyle modifications, and evidence-based therapies like CBT and EMDR. This multifaceted strategy allows me to cater to the unique needs of each client, fostering a supportive environment where personal growth and healing can flourish. Ariel Brittain is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate (LCSWA) passionate about supporting others in trauma-focused care. She has experience working with a wide assortment of diagnoses, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex PTSD, depression, anxiety, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and more. She strives to support individuals in strengthening their voices and gaining a better understanding of themselves, their relationships with others, and the world around them. Ariel uses an eclectic style of theories and modalities to ensure each client receives an individualized approach. These modalities include EMDR, CBT, mindfulness-based CBT, DBT, somatic therapy, IFS/parts work, ACT, and more. She also incorporates cultural importance, gender/identity inclusivity, and systems theory.
