I believe that therapy is a place where incredible growth and change become attainable. In my view, the challenging process of change often involves learning how to approach uncomfortable experiences, in the service of living the life that you want to live. For me, this process is collaborative and guided by my client’s values, in addition to my clinical expertise. There is no greater honor than being the person to support you in reaching your goals. I strive to approach each therapeutic interaction grounded in my own values of authenticity and collaboration. I view the relationship between client and therapist to be one of unique opportunity; a trusting dynamic in which a person can test out new ways of thinking, feeling and relating. This process can be challenging, but I wholeheartedly believe that it can be equally enjoyable and rewarding! My training is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy, emphasizing acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I have specialized training in evidence-based treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), worry, panic disorder, specific phobia and other anxiety-related struggles. Additionally, I have significant training and experience addressing attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mood and emotion regulation difficulties with children, teens and adults. Presently, I work with adults in individual and couples therapy.
