I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I received my bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at The University of Texas in Arlington (UTA) and my Master of Science with a major in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University (TWU). I have experience in facilitating adults (ages 18-60) who participated in PHP/IOP programs. This included group therapy, Individual and family therapy. Privately, I have provided play therapy for kids (ages 3-12) and adolescents. My theoretical approach includes: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Integrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Child Centered Play Therapy and Person-Centered. My specialties include: children, adults, families, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief and loss, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress, communication issues, anger management, post-traumatic stress, divorce/blended families, parent/child relationships, women’s issues and personal growth.
