Introduction

Michelle is the owner of Mighty Acorn Therapy, PLLC. Hi, I’m Michelle Manning. As a therapist, it is my great privilege to come alongside you in your most challenging times to offer a place of safety and support where you can work through difficult things that are holding you back from living your best life. I provide therapy to both couples and individuals (ages 10 to 110) and work with a diverse range of mental health and relational challenges. In addition, I also specialize in working with those who have faced emotional abuse and those who experience neurodivergencies such as OCD, ADHD, and the Highly Sensitive Person. I support clients in exploring their history and gaining insight into how past experiences and relationships influenced them. Patterns emerge that they may not have been aware of, and change can happen that results in being excited about life again. Clients learn new skills that help them to cope with challenging circumstances and propel them towards their goals and dreams. When you're seeking therapy, many times you're coming from a place of pain. You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-worth, relationship issues, difficulty sleeping, racing thoughts, hypervigilance, and/or many other symptoms. We'll work together to help you gain coping and calming skills to get relief while you're working towards gaining insight and understanding of what has brought you to this place in life. My experience has taught me that everything you need to live your best life is already inside. Sometimes you just need some help to find it. You’ll be amazed at the changes you can make when you’re ready to work and invest in yourself. The process of therapy can bring about growth faster than ever before. I believe that each of us can live a fulfilling life, a life that feels connected, healthy, and safe. I look forward to meeting you!
