Hello my name is Michelle and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2021. I utilize CBT, ACT, DBT, and Person Centered approach's in practice. I specialize in Anger, Anxiety, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. However, I have worked in many different areas before including Intellectual Disorders, Couples counseling, Parenting advice, and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. I enjoy creating an atmosphere where each party is involved in the care of the client. I started counseling because my children were diagnosed with autism and I wanted to know how to help at home. I graduated from Grand Canyon University. I live in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia and enjoy talking about the perfect spots to go to enjoy the area. I am a military spouse and was a military child as well and am well versed in the complexities of military life.
