Introduction

Hello, I’m so glad you found your way here. My name is Michell and I am a neurodivergent-affirming therapist that specializes in working with adults in the LGBTQIA community, people in the kink and BDSM communities and those in polyamorous and ENM relationships. I am a trauma-informed therapist and I enjoy using EMDR, parts work and somatic body-focused therapies in our work together to help you find healing and empowerment. I am especially passionate in working with adult survivors of childhood abuse and those with PTSD. Through our work I will collaborate with you at your pace to help you build the tools to reprocess traumatic memories, regulate your emotions and find relief from distress. I am also passionate about supporting those in neurodiverse relationships learn skill-based tools to help find a deeper connection with their partner(s) and navigate their neurodivergent and neurotypical differences. I deeply understand anxiety, rumination and how overwhelming and distressing intrusive thoughts can be. I offer a safe and nonjudgmental place to navigate through these thoughts and feelings and develop effective strategies to manage and reduce their impact on your life. I will use a customized approach to help you meet your goals and collaborate with you to create a treatment plan that works for you. I use my sense of humor, compassion, and authenticity to create a space to help you find peace and fulfillment. I am here to support you on your journey.
