I have used a collaborative empathetic approach in my work with teens, adults, and families. I believe in working with clients to identify realistic goals in treatment and assisting them in challenging negative thinking patterns. I have experience working with clients to address issues such as depression, anxiety, anger management, low self-esteem, autism spectrum disorder, suicidal ideation, self-injurious behavior, and family conflict. I implement principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I provide psychoeducation on effective coping strategies and communication skills to assist my clients in achieving their goals. I focus on creating a safe, judgment-free space and implement a collaborative therapeutic approach that supports my clients in achieving their goals.
