I am a co-owner and co-founder of Integrated Clinical Services in Lawrence, KS. I got into the field of mental health to tackle the tough cases, to facilitate healing and growth for people at all stages of life, to have fun and do meaningful, transformative work in the process. I have a comprehensive academic background in therapy, theories of change, psychology, neuroscience, and related areas. My main goal is taking this knowledge and creatively adapting it to modern, dynamic, and ever-changing problems and needs. I grew up in NE Kansas, went to Southern California for college, and returned to the Midwest for graduate school. My backgrounds in the humanities, political science, research, ethics, and the arts were ultimately joined with an ever-evolving interest in social welfare. To me, this was the path to doing the most effective work with real people. I specialize in work with adults and teenagers/adolescents with mental health and substance use problems. Teens represent about 50% of my caseload and I recognize it can be an especially tricky population to work with (but I truly love it). However, despite your age, if you’ve never gotten the right diagnosis (or multiple or confusing diagnoses), – I can help! I want to advocate for YOUR goals and help collaboratively facilitate better health & wellness. There is no problem too big or too small to address (and there’s no topic that will shock me – I’m here to be an appreciative ally to you on your wellness journey). I do this work because I love it. Contact us (ICS) and tell me a bit about yourself/your situation if you want to discuss getting started!
