My name is Michael and I have worked as a social worker/mental health counselor for the past 6 years. I went to Boston University where I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology. I then went on and received my Masters degree, in social work, at Simmons University. After graduation, I was hired at Lahey Hospital. I worked in the oncology department providing 1 on 1 mental health counseling to patients and their families' newly diagnosed with cancer. I am comfortable helping patients and clients with an array of diagnoses and disorders. I specialize in assisting patients with trauma, chronic illnesses, IPV, depression, anxiety, gender identity issues and LGBTQI+ needs
