Introduction

I aim to build strong relationships with clients and better understand their strengths as well as motivations. If you want a safe space to vent, process and/or need assistance with a specific symptom or problem, I will welcome you without judgment. We can set goals to help you move forward to achieve your goals. I primarily utilize solutions-focused therapy but strive to meet the needs of each of my clients. This approach can help clients experiencing stress related to school, career, family, or personal problems, as well as depression. We will work together to reinforce your strengths and build on your support. My background includes living abroad and in many different places around the country. In addition to counseling, I teach as a lecturer part-time, and had prior careers in public transportation and corrections. My variety of experiences has helped me build an awareness and appreciation for each of my clients' unique backgrounds.
