Licensed Psychologist, New York Michael Holdren
Available this week
Specialties: Life Transitions, Anxiety, Depression, Panic Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD),

Introduction

I am NY state licensed Clinical Psychologist who meets with clients virtually, thus I am able to work with clients from anywhere within New York state. I view psychotherapy as a collaborative effort wherein clients and their therapist work together to overcome life's many challenges. I believe every client is capable of transcending the things that have happened to them, redefining who they are, and actualizing their innate potential. Many clients report positive mood change, enhanced coping abilities, improved physical health, self-acceptance, mindfulness and satisfaction in their relationships. I specialize in the treatment of stress brought on by life transitions; mood disorders (Depression, Bipolar Disorder); anxiety disorders (Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Phobias, Generalized Anxiety); and adjustment disorders (relationship issues, divorce, work and family stressors). I do not accept insurance for my services out of respect for clients' privacy and the desire to spend my professional time with clients not insurance companies.
