Hi, I'm Micah Saviet (he/him), a trauma-informed, neurodiverse-affirming, LGBTIA+ allied clinical social worker and ADHD/well-being coach. I'm passionate about helping people find lasting relief from trauma, limiting beliefs, and feeling stuck. I am also passionate about helping individuals with ADHD improve their overall skills, functioning, and well-being. I can help you. My therapy specialties include ADHD, first responders (police, fire, EMS), trauma/post-traumatic stress, college students, and men’s issues. I also help individuals struggling with anxiety and depression. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches that are tailored to your personal needs, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), client-centered therapy, strength-focused therapy, mindfulness, positive psychology, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and, when appropriate, coaching approaches. I'm particularly passionate about energy psychology modalities such as emotional freedom techniques (EFT). In therapy, we'll work together to uncover and clarify your goals, highlight your strengths, and reduce the shame that comes with trauma or feeling stuck. We'll also explore any emotional blocks, discover patterns in your behavior, and work to remove the barriers that impact your life so that you can experience new growth and the best version of yourself. If you have ADHD, we'll work together to help you understand your unique brain wiring, look at challenges you’ve faced and where you want to head, address overwhelm, prioritize goals and see them to completion. We'll also work on increasing your confidence, cultivating your gifts, and building resources and support to continue forward growth. If you're looking for a therapist who is holistic, warm, smart, and solution-oriented, I would be honored to help you on your journey.
