Introduction

Do you ever feel like you are not adding up or reaching your potential as a man? Have you struggle with controlling your emotions or manage your overthinking? The journey of manhood can be confusing and challenging, as men are told to avoid expressing emotions and withhold feelings. I believe there is great freedom and strength when boys and men are able to express themselves, work through negative experiences, and develop new ways of coping. In my clinical practice, I work with Black teenage boys and men in reaching their goals, managing anger and anxiety, changing behaviors, and developing new ways of thinking. I also work with parents and families to help them better understand and form stronger relationships with their teenagers. As a licensed social worker, my approach is culturally competent, gender and sexuality sensitive, and trauma-informed. I use CBT, DBT, and Narrative Therapy to assist my clients in accomplishing their goals. My clients come to therapy for a wide range of issues and I am committed to working with you on your journey of being whole and empowered. I have experience working with clients in non-profit organizations, homeless shelters, substance abuse rehabilitation, and intensive treatment settings. I have worked with people in various walks of life and it would be my privilege to walk with you. Give me a call and lets get to work. HARMONY IS CURRENTLY OFFERING COUNSELING SESSIONS AT NO COST.
