Mia Nannicola, MSW, LSW, earned her Master of Social Work from Case Western Reserve University with a specialization in child and adolescent mental health and trauma-informed care. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Business from John Carroll University. Mia works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem issues, and trauma. She integrates a variety of evidence-based approaches, tailoring each session to the client’s unique needs and meeting them where they are in their healing journey. Grounded in a holistic perspective, Mia recognizes the vital mind-body connection in mental health. Her experience co-leading a social skills group for adolescent girls has deepened her appreciation for the power of connection and skill-building in fostering self-confidence and personal growth. When desired, she can also incorporate faith-based counseling into her work. Mia’s down-to-earth, genuine presence creates a warm and supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their emotions, build insight, and grow into their most authentic selves.
