Hello, I am therapist Merideth, and I have made it my purpose in life to help those who are struggling find relief from their suffering through kindness, compassion, and acceptance of themselves! I specialize in helping people stop self defeating patterns like self criticism, shame, and self doubt. In therapy with me, clients can expect to be treated respectfully as we work together to identify your unique goals to achieve the healing and growth you are seeking. I strive to create a caring and empathic environment, while at the same time challenging enough to help you grow. I use a combination of techniques based in compassion focused therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy. In other words, I teach you the skills you need to approach your specific pain with acceptance and kindness so you can work courageously to end your suffering.
