The therapeutic relationship is unlike any other because, for many, there are few relationships in which you are encouraged to completely focus on yourself. When you feel like you have too much on your plate, therapy allows you to come up for air, engage in meaningful self-reflection, and discover what you are made of and how you can be true to yourself going forward. My style of practice is authentic, compassionate, and straightforward, and I believe that a sense of humor goes a long way in helping people feel comfortable and connected. I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, pandemic-related stressors, eating disorders/body image issues, chronic pain/chronic illness, grief, posttraumatic stress disorder, and/or have concerns related to relationships, parenting, family of origin, career, identity, and life transitions. Let's work together to identify and overcome self-defeating thoughts and behavioral patterns, increase self-awareness and insight, and improve your quality of life. I am committed to helping you dig deep and do the work necessary to break down barriers, make connections, uncover answers, and build the mental strength needed to gain control of your life.
