Meredith Alt

Meredith Alt is a licensed educational psychologist (LEP) working in Studio City. She brings nearly 20 years of experience working in public education and 18 years of experience as a nationally certified school psychologist in California, Florida, and Washington State. Meredith earned my educational specialist degree (Ed.S.) from Seattle University and is certified as a Clinical ADHD professional (ADHD-CCSP), Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCTAP) and Executive Functioning coach. Meredith has extensive experience providing mental health services to populations of all ages and needs and has a strong background in providing support to children, adolescents and adults with autism, ADHD, and anxiety. She has deep knowledge of the education system and educational supports, including assessments, IEPs, and 504 plans. Meredith's approach includes a blend of therapy, executive functioning coaching, and educational consultation, including support with IEP and 504 plans. Therapeutically, Meredith incorporates tenets of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, or CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness, all evidence based approaches in the treatment of autism, ADHD and anxiety. Meredith is passionate about the impact of mental health services and the power of psychoeducation for both adolescent students and parents and adults. She offers in person appointments in her Studio City office or the flexibility of remote therapy sessions, and welcomes new clients to her office and online practice.
