Introduction

My mission in life is to assist in the healing of the brokenhearted by using the Word of God and psychology. I have more than 15 years of assisting individuals, adolescents, and families. I am a bilingual (Spanish and English) therapist and have a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the Central University of Puerto Rico (2009). I am certified in the management of anxiety, depression, trauma, and crisis intervention. I use holistic and innovative techniques to work on inner health. For example, art therapy, writing, aromatherapy, drama, music therapy, and body exercises to relax the body. I am a mother of two children, a wife of 14 years of marriage, a minister, a speaker, an author, an educator, and a coach. I love the beach, reading, drinking coffee, and photography. Also, to travel with my family and learn about different cultures. 5 years ago, I started a project called 'Be Kind to Your Mind', where I focused on spreading the word about mental health conditions and faith. In this project, I help people and families on how to take care of their minds. Healing process is often an undertaking that requires dedication, patience and hard work, but I will take you by the hand in the formation you are in. One day at a time. with love, Merari
