Mema (She/Her) is a compassionate and seasoned neurodivergent psychotherapist dedicated to supporting clients in Massachusetts and Florida. Her educational journey led her to attain a distinguished Master of Social Work with honors from Boston University. Mema is a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) and an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (CCSP), showcasing her commitment to fostering understanding and empowerment. With a wealth of experience, Mema specializes in collaborative approaches, assisting children, adolescents, and adults in navigating challenges related to ADHD, autism, anxiety, gender identity, and LGBTQI+ concerns. Mema's passion for continuous growth is highlighted by her completion of certificate programs spanning a spectrum of treatment modalities. These encompass Client-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). With years of impactful experience, Mema's journey encompasses meaningful work in community mental health, schools, and university counseling centers. In her most recent role, she provided tailored individual therapy to students at esteemed institutions such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Bentley University, and Tufts University. Mema is committed to working with LGBTQI+ youth, including those questioning their gender and/or sexuality.
